The piece featured above is a new one I just finished, called Nested. I just dropped it, along with three other new, bird-themed works for spring into my gallery. From April 19 – June 3, they will be on display at Vale Craft Gallery in Chicago as part of their show, “For The Birds,” along with two other pieces from 2012.
I create burned wood engravings that combine my love of the textures and patterns found in nature with a deep interest in the unconscious world of dreams, symbols and mythic folklore.
