I’m working on a new piece for my solo show at Firecat Projects later this year. I’m extra excited because I have some new ideas for this piece, including a three-dimensional collage element. I’m also incorporating some elements from my more formal ink drawings, including organic textures filling in graphic, symmetrical objects such as the large curvy shape on the wood below:

Here’s my original working rough sketch, made with ink, watercolor and a paper cutout of the skeleton and heart where I plan to add the dimensional elements. Stay tuned!
